ImagineFun is operated by Hideout Entertainment Inc ("we", "us"), 5307 Victoria Drive, #2001, Vancouver, BC, Canada, V5P 3V6. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the ImagineFun Minecraft server, this website (imaginefun.net), our Discord server and our Discord bots (together, the "Services"), how we use it and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Minecraft server. Your Minecraft username and UUID, IP address, connection times, in-game chat and commands, gameplay data (such as rides, achievements and in-game purchases) and moderation history.
Discord. When you interact with our Discord server or bots we receive your Discord user ID, username, display name and avatar, along with the messages, attachments and actions you send to our bots or in support tickets. If you link your Discord and Minecraft accounts we store that link.
Applications and appeals. Information you submit in staff, creator or builder applications and ban appeals, such as your username, contact details, age range and answers to the form questions.
Purchases. If you buy something from our store, payments are handled by PayNow (paynow.gg). We receive your username, what you bought and transaction details. We never see or store your full card details.
Website. Standard log data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, plus cookies described below.
Contacting us. If you email us we keep your email address and the contents of the conversation.
How we use your information
- To run the Services and provide features like PhotoPass, stats and patron perks
- To respond to support tickets, applications and appeals
- To moderate the community, enforce our rules and prevent cheating or abuse
- To process purchases and deliver what you paid for
- To keep the Services secure and fix problems
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
Information that is public
Some information is visible to others by design: your Minecraft username, skin and in-game activity are visible to other players, staff and patron lists appear on this website and PhotoPass photos show the players in them. Support ticket transcripts are published at a private link on this website for 30 days so you and our staff can review them. Anyone with that link can view the transcript, so only share it with people you trust.
Discord bot data
Our Discord bots only access the data needed to provide their features, such as support tickets, account linking and moderation. Message content is only stored for support tickets and moderation records. We do not use Discord data to train AI models and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers listed below. You can ask us to delete your Discord data at any time using the contact details at the end of this policy.
Cookies
We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the site from bots and abuse. Embedded content like YouTube videos and Airtable forms may set their own cookies under those providers' policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site may stop working.
Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Services:
- Cloudflare, for website hosting and security
- Discord, for our community server and bots
- Airtable, for application and appeal forms
- PayNow, for store purchases
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the safety of our players or to respond to a valid legal request. If our business is transferred to a new owner, your information may transfer with it under this policy.
Data retention
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Support ticket transcripts are deleted 30 days after the ticket is closed. Moderation records may be kept longer to enforce bans and protect the community. When information is no longer needed we delete or anonymize it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International transfers
We are based in Canada and our service providers may process data in Canada, the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under Canada's PIPEDA and the EU and UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email us at support@imaginefun.net. We may need to verify that the account is yours before acting on a request. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). If you believe a child has given us personal information without parental consent, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above. Significant changes will be announced in our Discord server.
